Group Boat Rentals and Vacation Charters in Delray Beach
A group boat rental in Delray Beach is the one afternoon the whole trip agrees on. The kids swim at the sandbar. The adults sit in the shade. Nobody has to drive, dock, or read a chart.
Delray Beach Boat Rentals runs private captained charters for families, hotel guests, and friend groups from Delray Beach and Boca Raton. Boats run from a 22-foot day boat for up to 10 to a 52-foot yacht for 13, plus a 26-foot tour boat for 18. Captained boat rentals start at $690, with fuel and captain included.

Charters for Every Kind of Group
Family Boat Rental
Half-day trips work best with young kids. We match you to a boat with shade, a restroom on the 36-foot-and-up yachts, and a swim platform. The Lake Boca sandbar is waist-deep and calm, so it's the family stop. Life jackets come in every size.
Hotel Guest Boat Charter
Staying on Atlantic Avenue or along A1A in Delray or Boca? Book online before you arrive, or call or text once you're in town. Guests board at Waterstone Resort & Marina in Boca Raton, and we'll send directions. We can also work with your hotel concierge.
Vacation Boat Rental
In town for a week? Book one day on the water or three. A sandbar day, a sunset cruise, a dock-and-dine lunch. Every charter is captained, so no boating license or experience is needed.
Group Boat Rental
Reunions, friend trips, and club outings. A group boat rental puts everyone on one deck instead of three cars and a restaurant wait. Groups of up to 13 fit our yachts. Groups of up to 18 fit the 26-foot tour boat. Tell us the headcount and we'll send options.
Watersports Boat Charter
Snorkel gear and tubing are available on request. The 36, 40, 44, and 52 foot yachts carry a Seabob water scooter. See our boats for what's on which boat.

Groups get hurt most by a bad boat day. A boat smaller than the listing. A captain fee collected at the dock after you paid online. A departure point that moved that morning. Those are the stories people tell about peer-to-peer rental apps.
Delray Beach Boat Rentals owns every boat in the fleet. Every trip has our own USCG-licensed captain, and fuel and captain are in the price. You book directly with us and get the full quote before you pay.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How many people can go on a group boat rental?
Most of our boats carry 10 to 13 guests. The 26-foot tour boat carries 18. Call or text (954) 299-5455 with your headcount.
-
Do you pick up hotel guests in Delray Beach?
Guests board at Waterstone Resort & Marina in Boca Raton, a short drive from Delray hotels. We'll send directions when you book, and we can coordinate with your concierge.
-
Do I need a boating license to rent a boat on vacation?
No. Every charter includes a USCG-licensed captain. You don't drive, so no license is needed.
-
Can kids and grandparents come?
Yes. Life jackets are on board in every size. Boarding is by stairs at the dock, so guests need to manage a few steps. Dogs and other pets are welcome. Tell us the ages when you book and we'll pick a boat with shade, seating, and a restroom.
-
Can we book more than one day?
Yes. Many vacation guests book two or three trips in one visit. Members of our boat club get member pricing on repeat trips.
-
Do you run charters on weekends and holidays?
Yes. We run seven days a week, including holidays, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Holiday weeks book early. The last Sunday in April is Boca Bash on Lake Boca, and families usually choose another day.
-
Why does the captain plan around the drawbridges?
The Atlantic Avenue bridge in Delray opens on the quarter and three-quarter hour, and the Linton and Palmetto Park bridges open on the hour and half hour. Taller boats wait for an opening. Your captain times departures so the group isn't sitting at a bridge.
-
What if a storm cancels our charter?
Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, and summer afternoons often bring short storms. Our captains make the call. Rescheduling terms are in our cancellation policy.
